Original antique etching dated 1900 in the plate.
Depicts an elderly woman in a traditional white bonnet, seated and focused on her needlework (knitting or sewing) next to a table. Atmospheric, detailed cross-hatching typical of late 19th/early 20th-century European genre etchings.
Plate-signed lower right with what appears to be the monogram “J.V.N.” (or similar) and the date 1900.
Presented in an ornate gilt frame with decorative corner details under glass. Original paper backing and string hanger on the reverse.
Condition:Print shows expected age toning. Frame has some minor wear and small chips consistent with age. Ready to hang.
