Titled The Tall Ship. Pencil-signed Elton Bennett in the lower margin, plate-signed BENNETT, titled in the margin. Gold sky, dark hull, skeletal lighthouse. Hand-pulled silkscreen, not a later reproduction lithograph.
Bennett printed these himself so working people could own original art. Ships and Washington-coast lights were his subject.
Condition:
Vintage wood frame with brown and gold mat, under glass. Ready to hang. Light age toning at the margin; small spot near the signature. Not examined out of the frame — period mats were often non-archival and some Bennett sheets were trimmed to fit stock frames. No edition number visible.25" x 30.5" x .5"
